How I got here...People are fascinating! In college, I majored in Psychology and Sociology. This interest in people is what led me to become a teacher in the first place.
After college, I began work in outdoor environmental education and was soon living in the mountains, teaching science to 4th through 12th graders. Before that, I didn't really think about conservation in a structured way. I learned why I needed to care about the earth by learning to appreciate nature. My personal life mission is to make a positive difference in the world. |
